Henri Tohme is a Dressage trainer with over 20 years of experience.  He owned and operated his private horse farm in Whitehouse Station, NJ for 15 years focusing on breeding and training dressage horses. He received several premium foal awards from the German Oldenburg Verband.  He competed in breed and young horse classes.

Henri focuses on the uphill balance, self-carriage, lightness, and pays special attention to the proper acceptance of the contact. He has trained and participated in clinics with European trainers including Hubertus Schmidt (GER), Etienne Le Maire (France), and Alex Bauer (GER). In 2018, Henri attended the FEI 4 Star Horses & Dreams CDI competition at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany as a guest observer judge, and participated alongside FEI judges Francis Verbeek and Henning Lehrmann.

 Henri has trained in New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida and Austin. He maintains a network of contacts in Germany and the Netherlands, and schedules horse buying trips.  

Henri has an active corporate career in Solar Energy and Telecom.
